No post processing tricks, just prudent use of Bulb and a very patient Labrador who knew just how long to pose absolutely still

For the benefit of anyone not familiar with this - Bulb setting allows you to keep the shutter open indefinitely. With a high f stop not much light can get in so a moving object does not have time to register. Stationary objects will register after a period of time. So I started with the room shot with no one present then whilst the shutter was open I called the dog to that position and got him to sit and stay. I had walked in and out of frame in this time. The room exposure was around 16 seconds and the dog around 8 seconds.
