Typical in Alaska
This plan appears in it's "dead" winter state and is found standing just so.
Wild celery
"Indian Rhubarb"
Angelica lucida
Edible if prepared properly (when in green state), but can cause contact rash for some people similar to mild poison ivey

haha it's just a simple plant in it's fall season ... we call it "indian rhubarb" or "wild celery" and it is conditionally edible if prepared coreectly ... when green ... not all dried up and clawing at the heavens hee hee
