Can You See The Stone ?
The shot was taken in January, 2008, at a beach
besides 17-mile Drive, California. The boy is my nephew.
(For this image, the only two post process were desaturation and sharpening.)

The space between ground and cloud (bordered by that line of hills) is wonderfully confined and defined in this photo which really accentuates the act of throwing the stone, which becomes an act of defiance somehow in the shot. This photo really speaks volumes. Splendid work.

This is very well done! I agree with Mandolin, the sky does really draw you in. What did you use to shoot this? Did you do any dodging or burning in postprocessing? It's well done however you did it!
