Sweet Ireland
This was taken on an old beach wall a few minutes' walk off of the Howth stop on the DART. Ireland has been one of the most beautiful places I have ever visited, but much of its beauty is decayed and hidden beneath a carpet of beer cans and litter. It is such a shame that a country so full of natural potential is slipping into such disrepair.
This is a good example of the "human involvement" being put to good use. Though graffiti is also a common pollution on the Irish landscape, this one made me smile- its message, despite its spelling, was so softly endearing and true. If only there were so many more eco-conscious seagulls, unafraid to speak out, the world would be a better and sweeter place.
Shame on the message in the bottom left corner, though-- what a bum.
