This picture was taken back in 2003 in a small village called Yaxcheku which is located in the northern part of the Yucatan Peninsula. I met her as she and the other women from the village were grinding corn which would later be made into tortillas. I got so many great pictures from this experience, and I can't wait to show everyone the rest of my photos.
