The Birds (a McKinnie/Maxson production)
This is a superimposition, or "digital double-exposure".
I was so inspired by Rachel McKinnie's excellent square-format Birds picture that I wanted to see it superimposed with my own holga shot of the church featured in Hitchcock's "The Birds". Rachel was game, and this is the result. I love it. Especially the extra dark vignetting from the doubling.
This church (St. Theresa of Avila) was also the subject of a photo by Ansel Adams.
