Winter Frame
I took this shot on a misty winters night. The leafless winter skeleton of the tree was backlit by the orange streetlights lighting up the mist. Only the tree was visible with the dim streetlights just glowing through the mist. I would like to have got more of the tree in but my back was right up against the wall of my house.

My friend Glenn Capers says he does not like this picture because it is like i used an orange filter. This is as I saw it and that is what attracted me to it. Thanks to Ronnie and Aaron for their comments.
Despite Glenn I still like it :) -

Regrettably, with the current argument over Photo Shopping, once a photographer captures an amazing hue as this, and naturally, it is suddenly up for debate as to how he captured said hue. I say, post it regardless, and KNOW you did right by your art! The color astonishes, and the explanation well fills the viewer in. The tree itself is stoic, isn't it? And your words, sheer poetry.

great natural colors here and none of the artifical lifelessness that excessive photoshop gives so many pictures posted here at JPG. brilliant capture.
