made that walk/climb years ago in the middle of the night to avoid the tourists when daylight broke and it is impossible to describe being on that point, sheer cliffs all around, and how many peaks over 15,000 feet lined up around you? this shot of yours puts me right there again in the biting breeze. there is a magnificent portrait of this sharp rock in the opening scenes of Herzog's "Aguirre, Wrath of God."
