a 60+ mile backcountry sled trip yesterday... a girl friend of mine's birthday...

The frozen alpine lakes made for some good sled racin' ... this was the last race of the day before heading back to city life.... anyway, as I was slowing down to just under 50mph my sled dug into one side and left me tucking and rolling for about 50 yards... thank goodness for helmets, but my neck, back and ribs are not so happy with me today.... the snow felt like pavement... go figure.. but hey, I won ... and I walked away!!! It's all good!!!!
