Unknown Girl, Fremont Parade, 1994
I like this photo because it reminds me of some of the "Decisive Moment" work of Henri Cartier-Bresson. Documentary but with lots of lines and potential energy. The Girl looked over for a just a 'split second' and with uncharacteristically good timing, I caught a moment with a lot of interesting momentum, natural composition, and plenty of stuff going on to keep the eye moving. There's quite a bit of detail that doesn't translate to this browser view, including a plane flying 'into' the building. I'd love to know who she is, what's happened since, etc. Maybe someone in Seattle will recognize her...
