broken window in January
A net curtain flies out of its window of a low-rent apartment across from a Catholic elementary school. In the six months I walked by this every day or two (my daycare was around the corner), twice the door of the corner apartment was off its hinges, just lying flat on the sidewalk. The building is actually for sale -- yes, you too could own your very own crack house for just over $300K.
In the story The Ward.

Interesting capture. Abandoned spaces have such character.

Thanks, Julie. I agree totally that abandoned spaces have lots of interest, but this place is most definitely not abandoned. That's why the broken window was so shocking to me on a -30C January day.
