The Cottage on the Island
There is a place where six-year-olds play phonetic Scrabble.
It's a place you couldn't possibly set out to design
where the evenings are foggy, but the perspective is crystal clear
where the waters may not heal the body, but never fail to heal the soul
where the new bonds of family deepen with the common experience
where the only things plugged in are directly related to food
where communication thrives as cell phones die.
Where newcomers come home.
In the story My Advice For Aspiring Photographers.
