Gordon came out of retirement that day and won his Class, in a borrowed car.

It was raining which helped, because to see him drive in the wet has more grace and beauty than Swan Lake.

He has excelled at every for of racing he has tried, Rallying, Go-karts, Single Seaters and Saloon Cars ( Stock Cars and Open Wheelers for US)

He has raw talent in abundance, and could have made it internationally with the right brakes.

We have been friends about 45 years now.
