This shot was done with a camera attached to the lighting grid above the ring and triggered with a foot switch ringside. A nikon 35mm f 2 lens.

My husband is a Muay Thai Kickboxing instructor and I dabble in kickboxing competition, either way we are always at events or watching events on TV. This is a classic image your photos are amazing and inspiring, I can only hope that one day I too can learn enough about photography to even come close to how great your images are.
