There are just some things I don't want to EVER see...and this is one of them. I'm even sorry you were there in person to witness this atrocity. Journalistic integrity and all that...fine. I just wish I could unsee this scene. Too bad there's not a "Caution-graphic depiction of animal abuse" option here.

Well, the theme IS "creatures" and not "pets"...even still. I love dogs, but not on my plate.

Funny how when its a dog, its labelled 'animal abuse' but if its a cow it just dinner. People are strange. Either its ok to eat animals or its not. Pick one.

Gregory Fitzpatrick said (28 Sep 2008):
this is the fate that awaits all people who slaughter other animals. Anyone who kills or benifits from the killing of animals will meet a similar fate one day. This is the eternal law of nature. Enjoy your meals murderers.

Mr. Fitzpatrick,
While I believe in minimising unnecessary cruelty to all life, I find your comment rather fatalistic. Besides, it sounds like you are prejudiced - I accuse you of kingdomism. Fungi have feelings too.

I will never understand how people can do such a thing, I bet he goes home lonely, no friends, no wife. Not with a day job like that. Your all right though, people do not realize the things that happin in this world, photos show both Good and Evil.
-
Steve Gong said (8 Oct 2008):
Ms. Bommerscheim,
Actually, the "he" to which you refer has a good wife, a good life, and is not lonely.

Disgusting Photo, Disgusting people. Disgusting culture...
-
Steve Gong said (16 Nov 2008):
Mr. Peterson,
Is it a coincidence that all your pictures feature delectable good eats? -
Daniel Angeles gave props (16 Aug 2009):
I dont understand people, not meaning this guy, i understand him, he needs to eat, so he eats meat, Dogs have meat so why not, they've been doing it for centuries so wheres the problem. I dont understand why so many people are calling him evil and cruel, this is the culture and is just what is. The western world isn't the right world making everything else in comparison wrong, there are some cultures that would say the exact same thing to a farmer slaughtering his cows, yet thats what we accept as our source of food. Yes, you may hate to see a dog being carved up for food, but that doesnt make the man evil or cruel just because you are ignorant and don't understand the reality of this world...... great capture.
