Every year in November the jewish community in munich/germany organizes a reading of the
names of all of the 316 jewish children that where token to concentration camps
and killed by the nazis.
Children from different schools in munich read the names of the jewish children
in the old munich cityhall - the same place where the initial order for the
Reichspogromnacht was given.
on this picture you see this old lady while in the mirror you see the image
from the passport of a murdered jewish girl. the passportimages still had the
swastika on it - it made me feel like: this children where marked by the nazis,
even after their dead. i decided to capture the speakerbox too - to me its like
the second "authority" the old lady cant hide from: she can cover her eyes but
she still hear the names...
i wasnt shure if i should submit it to "noir", because its a very sad topic, but thats what "noir" can be also about, right?
