jesse, i've been a giant fan of your work - specifically your views of busses - for a really long time. i've never quite been able to put my finger on why these things intrigue me like they do until i read your essay... the bus as a symbol of movement. that's it. you've found in the static image a sense of motion in such clean, bright and engaging compositions.
this one in particular is great because of the little chips in the paint. -
