Atlanta, Georgia

One of the many trips within my Consular jurisdiction representing The Bahamas. This was a Bahamas Ministry of Tourism promotion of Delta's inagural daily service from Atlanta to Nassau.

Mayor Andrew Young is captured in a Junkanoo-style dance with Ms. Bahamas 1987 as we danced through the hotel lobby. (Mayor Young also served as U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations during the Carter Administration.)

At right is my wife Jennifer and I. Georgia is one of six States within the jurisdiction of the Bahamas Consulate General which based in Miami, Florida. At the time, I was Consul General attached to the Consulate General, Miami.
