A Steep Climb
A gentle, misty rain started falling as I was waiting by the tripod for the camera to finish taking this shot....you should be able to see it in the light of the streetlamp.
This is Macclesfield in the North of England and it's the nearest large town to where I live.

Thanks...I love taking photos like this at night. It's a really special feeling being all alone with just the camera and a tripod and the excitement of waiting to see what each photo looks like on the camera's lcd.
The cross piece at the top of the streetlamp on this photo dates back to days of gaslight when someone would have to come with a ladder and light each lamp in turn. -
