Burned-out Truck
Photo of a truck in an area outside Warren, Idaho that was completely overrun by fire in August 2007.
We were visiting the town while it was under assault by a wildfire this summer. Many folks have commented on the "fog" in the trees; that isn't fog, it is smoke from the fires burning nearby. In the early morning the smoke lays over the ground under the inversion layer creating an ethereal feel to the scene.
Warren is an unincorporated town located in the north central region of the U.S. state of Idaho on the South Fork of the Salmon River near the Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness. It is located within the Payette National Forest in Idaho County. In 1862, the discovery of gold led to the formation of the settlement. The community was named for James Warren, prospector.

I love the look and feel of this. You must have had smoke up your nostrils and on your clothes after shooting it!
I'm giving it a yes vote. I only wish the tree on the right was cropped out though. Good luck!

Truly awesome. Forest fires are all too familiar for me , living in the Southeast, I certainly don't envy but certainly applaud you volunteering to work those front lines. Your photography work here is extraordinary as well. Got my vote.
