Beloved
My dearest grandmother, struggling with the after effects of brain surgery. She is an extraordinary woman and has always been the light of my life.

Thank you for sharing such a personal part of your life. This photo is full of emotions and very moving to me. It brings me close to the sorrow I had when my Grandma was ill from cancer. From these thoughts though, almost simultaneously, they bring happiness, those "my Grandma...":) memories I had with her. Thank you.

I'd give all that I have for a single smile
that takes away the reason that now imprisions us,
to wound to a frenzy all your anxieties
and enter a paradise where there are no shadowws.

Such piercing eyes, reaching through the lens.... wrapped in a warm fuzzy sweater. Great image, what a tribute to her.
