I took this self-portrait right after I got back from a 2 month trip around Europe. I was 21 and depressed as hell to be home. I guess that accounts for the lack of pizazz in the photo. It does capture the way I felt. Back in the American suburbs after 2 months of seeing some of the world was a very hard transition that I wish I never would have made.
