Walking through a very old, abandoned motel on the side of a nearly abandoned highway I spotted these somewhat burned playing cards laying on the floor in what seemed like the only pool of light the dwelling had to offer. I instantly thought of a card game gone wrong in a movie like Casablanca or The Maltese Falcon, I could almost hear the voice of Humphrey Bogart.
