Used To Be King

Our decisions reinforce themselves. If I choose A rather than B then, next time, it will be easier to choose A again, and harder to choose B.

I know someone who has held a grudge for so long that her face twists into ugliness at the mere mention of the offending party. I also know someone who has practiced goodness for so long that he can make the most heroic act of selflessness look effortless.

This frog, bless him, has a certain haughtiness in his expression that made me think about the way pride makes us smaller and uglier. What would we end up looking like if we were never to change, and if the soul were to live on forever?

Talking about titles. "Used to be King" that's a title. A story in itself. A monarch dispossessed and condemned to live in a new form... maybe you are right, just the result of what we do to ourselves. Great shot Chris.

In addition to the beautiful prose that accompanies this... this froggie (with his dirty nose) makes my day. Fantastic!
