I like it. What an iconic image, I love the dent it enhaces the perfect shapes around it. The circles appear like a shrine to the dent. Or maybe it's a belly button.

Marcus -- Thanks for your insightful comment regarding the tuna can lid. The idea of the dent was to "break" the industrial perfection of the lid; for the same reason the lid is NOT centered in the frame. I have shown this picture elsewhere and some critics have been driven nuts by the off-center imperfection.

It HAS to be off-center just as it HAS to have the dent. And thank goodness you need abide by the rule of thirds in this image! And the interesting thing is, as I gaze at it then move my eyes off, I see after-images all over my screen of the can and its concentric rings! Awesome how it works!

Thanks Richard; I can tell you "get it".
The image can drive one a bit nuts. I posted another picture of venetian blinds that has an even stronger effect on the eyes when the image is moved up and down. View that one at your own risk. :)

I dig the fact that it's off center, the assymetry is what makes the image arresting--and that intense blue, bravo. I made it a fave as well...Love that blue.
