Walking through the garden, I admired the sunlight hitting the daisies and the tulip petals with their metallic sheen. A huge oriental poppy was just opening up, so I stopped to take a photo of it, amazed by the size, As I neared the back of the garden, the poppy seemed minute compared to what I had found! This huge, dinner plate sized peony open for all the world to see! I didn't even have to use the minimum focus on my camera lens to fill the frame with its gorgeous colors and texture.
