i took my grandfather to see his wife of 50 some odd years, my grandmother, for the first time after her brain surgery. Christmas Day. he quietly rolled his wheelchair to the side of her bed, gently took her hand......

    Wow! I see things so differently. I was a nurse for 20 years. I think it's good that he was able to bythere to comfort her. I think it' s fantastic that she survived the surgery and acknowledged his presence. Thing are looking up. This was a tender, joyful and beautiful moment.
