This was taken from D. Luis bridge connecting Gaia and Oporto (Portugal second biggest city). This old waste disposal place, which we call "ferro-velho" is just located next to the beautiful Douro river. Although it may looks horrible and certainly it may be a potential pollution emissary in several ways, these "ferro-velhos" had always incorporated the concept of recycling.
