Then again, some people have photos that simply don't get votes because they don't get views and the more popular a site becomes the more likely that will occur just due to the luck of the draw (what time they post, how may people are on at the time, and the quantity and quality of the photos that happen to get posted immediately after pushing their photo back in time to where people don't tend to see it).
II don't have ANYTHING extensively favored or viewed on any site. What does that say? Based on this theory of democracy, I pretty much must suck as a photographer. The public has spoken, after all!
Either that or luck has something to do with it. I guess I still cling to the hope that it’s luck since I don’t really think I suck.
Interesting topic though. I think a lot of us wonder about what motivates people to click a picture, fav a picture, vote for a picture. It's very elusive no matter where you go, I think.
