Dance of the free range dust devil
It was a typical day for me. I thought I had escaped the city rush leaving early to work. Like the millions that now live in New York City or any metropolis. If you haven't lost all your senses, from concrete and signs and taxies You should still know that our metropolis structures are the free man's penitentiary. It's designed to cater to our whims and desires while keeping us confined But if you go to the market you meet the people on the edge. They sell eggs that say "Free Range". I once asked what free range meant while on the clock to get from one avenue to another by taking a short cut. The answer came slowly. I was unappreciative to the deliberate delay from the man that sells eggs. The Organic guy said with a silly grin. "That means chickens that run around the ranch free and are not cooped up like the people in big cities." Now, when I can I seek the open range, as a chicken. If you know my number, i'll even cluck for you, especially when I see a dancing dust devil far from home.
