Resubmission, adjusted the colors.
Constance & Buster.
Buster is the more-than-naked one.
Don't panic, it's nor a kitten or a puppy. It's a rabbit bought at the butcher's.
I became vegetarian after meeting him. Thank you Buster, you're eternal now.
By the way, this is a comment a friend of mine made on this picture, and it's one of the reason why some day I like it :
*"A kind of softness but when you look closer there is a roughness"...
I hope this is an adequate translation of something that you said to summarise my opinion of your photos. And.. just as I express my opinion in French, then you summarise in French and I translate the summary of my own idea back into English, like a cycle.. I feel that there is also a cycle to this photograph. Like two mirrors facing each other. First our eyes are attracted and soothed by the naked woman, but then... THE DEAD RABBIT STABS US IN THE EYES! And what is this? A polaroid of the girl where she seems to be revealing more of herself? This is intriguing, so we look.. however, the polaroid is cradled within the arms of the dead rabbit... so there is conflict for us -- as we try to uncover more of the beautiful girl we are forced to concenctrate our gaze on the horror of the dead rabbit. This suggests that the girl and the rabbit are inextricably intertwined, suggesting there is something beautiful about a dead rabbit.. but also something horrific in the girl.. which leads us back to the title.. in her dreams, she was a wolf.*
