I've been informed that the stencil street-art is Banksy.
I'm starting to lean toward Blek Le Rat or another artist. But I'm no expert.
3/18: Mark Weathers came across another shot of this stencil and found out it's an image of Sri Aurobindo. Thanks, Mark!

Yeah, Mark, hard to say. But very possible, since this is on a street (and a block) where all the great graff and tag artists have stuff up (and it's conveniently near all the big downtown galleries). But it could be another artist. I'll keep trying to find out.
