i have the same memories; used my dad's pentax k1000 every chance i got in the backwoods of Montana! then later it was his Canon AE-1, my favorite non-digital. then for myself, i used a Canon EOS Elan. Now i use my beloved digital SLR, a Canon Rebel EOS.
