This was shot in the town of Tanay, Rizal which is about two hours away from Manila, Philippines.
A small p&s cam was attached to a model helicopter. Composing was done by viewing the live preview transmitted to a small lcd monitor mounted on a pair of sunglasses and giving verbal instructions to the helicopter operator since we hadn't yet mounted a swivel and pivot mechanism.
I like the use of negative space. The rocks and the shadow of the vehicle add depth to the scene.
I wanted originally to have the vehicle crossing the river in the shot but some of the submerged rocks prevented us from wading in the deeper area. My alternate title is After The Rubicon.
