I am a fan for B+W conversions, and some images work great in both B+W and color. I think this image works in both, but my favorite is your color version. You found that dramatic light again, and I like how the goreground serves as a frame for your image. I have never been to Crater Lake, but this image shows a different perspective than others I have seen from the lake.

Melissa, This is another excellent shot. I have to agree with Chris, this is a great shot. All the time I lived in Oregon (Eugene) I never got up there. I guess I need to head over since its not to far from Seattle. Excellent shot all the way around !
