Many connotations were derived from this image when I initially presented it to my tutor group. The palette has a certain level of hue and saturation reminiscent to the 60's. Is this girl perhaps a representation of this era? young and playful? Or is she in fact a statement of the ideals of the 60's (ie. Peace and Love) and where those ideals are today. Seemingly abandoned and left to only observe the on going faults of our society. I personally like to leave my photographs free to interpret as the outcome when using film is very much unpredictable. However, after reviewing this particular image I found that this connotation was the most intriguing and therefore titled the image "Beyond Peace and Love."

Yeah, it definitely conjures up the feel of my Northern California childhood.
