Looming Twin Towers of Convection (#2380; B&W version)

Bound for Hilo from Honolulu at 15,000 feet approaching towering cumulonimbus clouds forming along the southwest slope of Haleakala on the island of Maui.

Through the pilot-side (L) glass windshield of a Beechcraft C-90 King Air; Canon 5D 1/100 sec. shutter (note the propeller blur), 24-70 2.8L @24mm. November 7, 2007.
