NOIR
While serving a warrant police were forced to bring this suspect forcefully to the ground, splitting open her face on the pavement. Witnesses said she was in handcuffs at the time. The dark underbelly of sobriety or noir of sobriety is the relapse and the spiral of decent after the relapse. This lady had been clean for at least six years from what I was told and then she relapsed and ended up in this situation. My heart goes out to her.

very sad. Relapsing is 100 steps backward from the place your tried to begin.
