Camera - Fuji S9100
Focal Length - 14mm
Shutter Speed - 1/14 sec
Aperture - F/3.6
ISO - 80

This image was taken as part of a modeling session for a friend. The location was an abandoned industrial plant that we stumbled upon quite by accident. Despite the low shutter speed (1/14 sec) this was a handheld shot without the use of optical image stabilization. By combining a steady hand and leaning on a wall, ledge or post, it is sometimes possible to get a good sharp focus down to 1/4 sec... Not the best method but works in a pinch. Dodging and burning has been applied to bring out muscle tone a bit more. This is a good example of matching your model to his or her surroundings. Would this character seem so menacing if he was situated in a lovely garden at a scrumptious tea party? I think not... Comments are welcome.
