Streetfighter
This guy was pretty cool, just sitting minding his own business, and I just had to get the shot. But as I lifted the camera and looked through the lens he just broke into this mean stare into the lens like he was gonna hurt me. I saw it and quickly pressed the shutter release. Later I complimented him on his tattoos and showed him the shot and it was only then that his frown turned into a broad grin…phew!

Phew indeed! Exceptional documentary photograph. Perfect response to the theme. Voted yeah! straight away (this one really does rock!). I fully expect to see a 'published' flash on this in the coming months.

Wow, a cool shot! I like how you caught this facial expression. Is he a Thai guy?

the color the light the model -- all great. only thing i might have changed would be to crop less of his head

Thanks Nino. Yes this was shot in Thailand. Thankyou also for your comments Evan...I guess the reason for the close cropping is that I wanted to really isolate the intensity in his eyes and facial expression.
