Remnant of the St. Charles Tavern at 488 Yonge St. Toronto (a former fire hall with a recently refurbished Victorian clock tower). Fifty years ago, people would say “Meet me under the clock” and everybody knew it meant under the clock tower at the St. Charles Tavern, just north of College on Yonge Street, west side.
