la laguna's cotton, lagunero is spanish for "lagooner" and means belonging to la laguna (the lagoon), a region in the north of Mexico where converges Torreón, Goómez Palacio and Lerdo (from COAHuila and DuranGO states). This region grow up with the cotton industry but there's no more cotton than the clouds in summer as shown in this picture, and a few fields where still a small production of it.
