An old 42nd street sign captured a couple of months before it was taken away. I felt really upset as I wanted to buy the old neon sign but as I don't live locally I decided to let it wait till next time, by then the building it was hanging from had already been torn down. An artifact from the seedy era was no more.

I love images of urban & rural decay. Memories of old Americana.
    Good job!

This sign has left the building. The whole building on 42nd actually has been torn down and the sign with it, I am glad I caught it before it left New York for ever.
