Illuminare on the road to showing faith
This photo is hot! Share it!
From the corner of my eye a devotee has in his hands the Host of Christ and finds his moment to connection with his very existence of being as he moves out of a small closet. How wonderful it must have meant to hold this symbol and walk into his God's light. I am exalted in his quiet but fanatical moment of faith and righteousness.

I think the symbolism is extremely powerful. I see this story as a person who has found away to be in the likeness of Christ and rediscover an emotion. He is beginning at a path holding his faith firmly baring a cross. The host he carries is like a channel a reminder maybe it is why this man wears the robes. Very unusual this truly is a private moment when most only see the after reality of a procession. You know magic when you see it, or is it you can feel it before it fully develops. Which ever your camera and you are like a divining rod with super natural powers or just magical insight. Whichever you are always focused. Its a great shot but a quiet shot next to your other images. I think they call that range.

I think its clear to see just how powerful any religion can be in your image. You can see and feel the nature of things, you are a real crystal clear person. See the crystal nucleus., Right moments are many. But when it speaks that's speacial. You must hear the nucleus of the moment calling. Super shot.

Glenn, this is a very powerful and moving image. You have a way of capturing human beings at their most intimate and life changing moments. I wish I could do that. I am still working up the courage to photograph people.

Religion is powerful for all, but for some you can see it. Nice to see something personal about someone's moment of inner feelings. You do capture the souls of people and nature alike right off the top.

Does this mean salvation is in the darkness of a closet?
Is it light we strive to hold or the darkness that would comfort us?
Is revelation a word meaning sight or an adjective describing the absence of light?
We are all our own Jesus, walking in different directions towards the same eventual pathway, searching for the same light within our very same closets of darkness.
Your thought process is wonderful and I see the reason why you inspire so many.
Wonderful image with an equally compelling engagement of mind and sight. -

What a catch Glen, to get that guys face centered in the Host of Christ, in what was obviously a very solemn and private moment speaks to your skills as the fly on the wall as someone else already mentioned.

Myths in my mind,
lies in my soul,
swaying in the winds of the directions I'm told.
Suppressed in my thoughts.
restrained in my tongue,
from this mythical madness tree I am hung.
In the garden I slumber,
Quiet now, don't twist, don't turn...
Never eat of the apple but taste of it's worm.
My demi-brothers I pray to thee;
Oh Hercules, Oh Thor and Jesus be three
if thou be the sons of Gods, then why not me? -
