Very curious turtle, Is not a shy and slow creature.
UPDATE! Speedy we rescued from a pet store, he was the only one out of several that watched us walk by and crawled toward the glass barrier to get a closer look. We had to have "speedy" as a new member of our family. He did not claim his name until after a few months. We would let him roam around our apartment. This amazing guy wouold disappear within minutes. He always finds a good hiding spot but returns in our view when he is done exploring. This turtle of ours gives us laughter and joy. I will post more pictures once I figure out how to really use my camera. :-)
