Rockies Dawn
I dozed on and off throughout the first night on the bus, partly from lack of comfort, partly from exhiliration. I listened to drone-based music on the curvy roads at night, only seeing as far as the bus' headlights, and as soon as daylight started creeping in I couldn't keep my nose away from the window. It was cloudy and cold when we stopped for breakfast in Golden, BC (town of opportunity, or so I hear), and me and my travel partner already looked pretty rough. but man, was the view stunning. And the date squares expensive.
In the Trans Canada Highway photo essay.
