    I love this photo. It reminds me of the old, abandoned cabins in the gold country of California. If you can, do a search for Coloma, California and you will find interesting facts about the area. It is in the Sierra Nevada foothills, and it is the place where the gold rush of 1849 began. I lived there for a year in a cabin by the American River. By the pitch of the roof, it is in snow country.
