dan chrysler was sitting outside the gypsy tea room in dallas, texas. we were waiting outside the venue to see our favorite band and he sat right beside us playing his old and beat up guitar while people lined up around him. he is homeless and was just trying to find a place to sit. he never begged or bugged anyone. he just sat and played. after listening to his music for a bit, a friend and i requested an old johhny cash song, which he miraculously new by heart. he started playing and me, and my two friends began to sing along with him. as we sang people around us began to sing along and soon a large amount of the concert goers were rockin' out to the old transients cover of "folsom prison blues". we talked with him and he told us a few "dirty jokes" we were best friends from that point on.... he had a skull on the end of one of his guitar strings and we thought is was really inventive of him to lodge his cigarette into the ends of his strings. he told us that his last name meant "town crier". we all talked for about 45 minutes and asked to snap this photo, then we had to finally get into the show. he was one of the most friendly men all of us had met. he was sweet and funny and not at all like the creepy homeless man stereotype everyone had labeled him as. danny chrysler will always be our favorite singer.

This is such a great portrait, it seems to have really captured the spirit of this guy. And the story makes him even more charming, great job.

That's great but I miss the details in place of the story. The picture a little more noisy.
