Walking around Chinatown after work one evening with my new LOMO LC-A+, even though Grant Avenue is kind of a stereotypical place to take pictures.
Agfacolor Vista 400iso, and holding really, really still while the shutter was open.

Wow, I don't think I've ever had a photo get this kind of response so quickly. 4 favorites in 13 views? Cripes! Thank you, kind folks!

Aw, thanks Gigi! You're thinking of City Lights, which is a few blocks away, but North Beach (where City Lights is) and Chinatown are right next to each other, so you might've seen a lamppost like this out over there. This was... okay, dumb reference alert: you ever seen Big Trouble in Little China, and towards the beginning Egg Shen is driving his tour bus, and he takes his tour through those elaborate gates? That's Grant Avenue and this was about three or four blocks up the street from there.

I'm super-pleased with Vista. No weird shifts like us cross-processing nuts love, but you can get great rich color with it.

Clear graphic intent fires off the screen. The composition lacks for nothing, the slight fade of colour adds perfectly to the image. Plus the fact no tripod was used (you must have a steady hand). A truly cool photograph.
