Amsterdam, May 2006.
I know, tulips and bicycles, such ordinary and overused symbols of Amsterdam, but I had to take this shot because it was Mother's Day and it evoked many instant stories in my mind. Did it belong to someone bringing flowers to her mother? Or was the owner a mother who stopped somewhere after she got them? Or someone who just bought them because it was season and was in a nearby coffee shop on the way home?
Everything about Amsterdam makes me want to go back.
